Sounds like a hit to me. No burglar I know of would ever take the time to disconnect the phone lines, make enough racket in the house to wake the residents up, and then kick in a locked door and fire two shots directly at someone who was not even in the bed.

Then there is the talk about the previous break in where the knife was left on the bed for the his family to find when they got hime. Also the house was ransacked. That was only 8 days prior to the fatal break in. As bad the scene was reported to be, especially since there was no one there then and they didn't show up for a while, you would think that the burglars would have had enough time to get everything then. No burglar would risk going back that soon to retrieve more merchandise. Also, I haven't heard of any of the stuff that they took. In fact, I don't believe they took anything or else the police would trying to track that down at the local pawn shops and swap meets.

Then there is the fact that Taylor was standing off to the side of the bed when the burglar broke down the LOCKED door to shoot yet the burglar didn't start shooting randomly, which most would have hit the bed where Taylor's girlfriend and daughter were, but instead aimed to the side where Taylor was and only fired twice, once hitting the wall and then again hitting Taylor. That shows me that the person had experience with a gun and had a target in mind.

There is also the fact that the perp somehow managed to affect the phone lines, making it harder to place a phone call. That means that they had to know that someone was in the house and they did not want to be able to notify authorties. Most burglars do not intend to be caught and if they are, the want to make a fast get away. They do not cut the phone lines unless they know they know that there is a security system that is set up directly through the phone line or they intend to make enough noise or do something that they know is going to get them caught.

Then there is Taylor himself and his past. He had been a part of some bad stuff prevously in his life. I am not saying that gives any right for someone to kill him, but he had to know that there were people in his past that could possibly harm him or his family.

The more that comes out about this story, the more suspicious it gets. I don't trust that the police department is being completely truthful with everyone either out of ignorance or repsect to the family. If it is for the family's respect, that is fine, then don't talk about it at all so they don't present misleading and confusing reports. I don't know that a suspect will ever be caught either. The person that did this made sure that the steps that they took were very thorough.

As far as gambling allegations, every athlete has a tendancy to gamble due to the competition and the money involved. Some let it take over their lives while others learn to control it. If Taylor was gambling, he was either doing it very, very discreetly or he had it under enough control that the media and the NFL hadn't picked up on it.

I think this has something to do with either drugs, his previous friends, or his girlfriend.

Somebody was definitely gunning for him. He had a lot of run ins with the laws, so maybe it's connected there. His lawyer said, he had a machete under his pillow for protection. Now who the hell, carries that under their pillow, unless they're expecting somebdy? Nobody I know. His lawyer also said, that girlfriend, also climbed out of bed to get her cell phone, instead of reaching for the house phone next to the bed, and none of the cords were cut. Why go through all the trouble of climbing out of bed, when you have a good phone within arms reach? Hmmmmmmmmmm. That extra time caused alot more bleeding, and who knows if he could have been saved had she reached for the house phone. The police have no leads yet. Did the girlfriend see anything and she's keeping quiet? Too many fishy details right now. But somebody was definitely gunning for him, and I think the girlfriend was behind it.

Gambling? It was an alleged robbery. Days before it happened, someone broke into his house and left a knife on his bed. RIP Sean Taylor

I believe it was robbery. I mean they probably knew him and knew he had money. The person who committed this awful crime is a true coward! Anyone who kills for money is too lazy to work and get it themselves.
