The Dolphins(as bad as they are this year) has had an undefeated season and the greatest QB of all time. They aren't a joke.

I look at everyone saying Buffalo because they lost 4 Super Bowls. I still think they were the most dominant team those 4 years and they do have AFL championships. So no, they are not a joke. Minnesota Vikings also lost 4 Super Bowls and have no kind of championships whatsoever so they are much more of a joke than Buffalo. But when I think of a franchise that is a joke that has nothing to really show for being here, I have to go with the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS! They have been in the league for 40 years now and have not been to the Super Bowls yet and finally made it to a conference championship last year only to get stomped by Chicago. I also feel sorry for the Cardinals. They've been a joke since they moved to Phoenix. They had better days in Chicago and St Louis.

I have to agree with you on the Jags and the current Browns franchise. The old Browns got it done and had winning records.

The Jags are in complete turmoil as far as the front office is concerned. Actually, the NFL didn't want to give the city a franchise, but the investors that developed the plan to bring the Jaguars to Jacksonville promised that they could do all kinds of marketing and that Jacksonville was growing fast enough that it would be able to sustain a franchise. Now the owner is petitioning the city to subsidize its team because of poor revenue and has also threatened to move the team or sell it. The stands are also frequently empty and the merchandise sales are pathetic.

As for the Browns, the old franchise had it together and did what it took to win. This new franchise had visions of dollar signs and just wanted to capitalize on a fresh void that was left by the old one. The new one has gone through 2 number one picks that are no longer with the team (Tim Couch and Courtney Brown). Three head coaches (Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, and Terry Robiskie) and they are on their second GM. This has been since 1999. That is less than 10 years. They are doing OK this season and may be on to something, but when the off season comes, if the owners don't think they have made enough money, they will do something to screw it up.

the browns? They have been around for just a few years. The old browns moved and became the ravens who have a superbowl win. The jags are pretty new aswell. The bills and the titans have mad the superbowl so I will go with the vikings over the falcons.

if you are talking about this year, you should take the browns, jags, falcons and the vikings off that list..and add the dolphins and the lions to it due to kit trying to read his crystal ball out loud..the browns have a decent record after a questionable trade early on at the qb position, the vikings just got a great rookie and have beat both the chargers and the giants this year..and who even thought the falcons would be 3-8 at this point after losing vick? not me..i didnt think they would win a game all year

You've chosen some pretty stupid teams as worst franchise. Vikings... Browns? Vikings have had many good teams ranging from back in the day with the purple people eaters and the 98 team(theyve been to the superbowl only to lose though :*( ). Browns have also been pretty good. Please dont obsess over this superbowl issue. However a truly bad franchise would have to be the Lions.

...It almost has to be the Lions...hands down. They have the losers just about every year that they have existed. Their only bright spot has been Barry Sanders, and they still didn't do anything. They have a winning record right now...but their schedule is quite easy, they couldn't do that with a tougher schedule...their defense is awful..their offense can't run the ball very well...they can pass...but they're not even really good at that because they can't pass block and stop the sack fests....

Detroit is the biggest joke...Even the city sucks....

I don't think you can put the Bills on that list. Doesn't anyone remember back when they went to four superbowls in a row? Granted they didn't win a single one of them, but just going to four in a row is a fantastic mark as it is. I personally think the Lions should top off that list. Short of the Barry Sanders years, they've been on the rocky road for their entire existence.
