My family originally came from Wales, and we always have a standing rib beef roast for dinner. You roast it dry on a broiler rack.
When it's done people who like their meat well-done can slice from the ends and those who like it rare can slice from the middle.
We usually serve it with Yorkshire pudding to sop up the drippings.

Apparently, some of yuo DIDN'T get the point:she wants ANYTHING but turkey!
The Honeybaked Ham sounds great, but what about a meatloaf?
Every Thanksgiving, my mom and I(we have NO relatives left and our neighbors have moved in only a few weeks ago!) have turkey or sausage "meatloaf" w/out the "traditional "stuff"...
NIce idea!

We don't stand on tradition, this year we are having a b-b-q, last year we had ham, and chickens, the year before turkey.
We do something a little different each year, but the rest of the feast is fairly traditional, like the Christmas pudding and ice-cream, mincemeat pies, cherries etc.

My family always does a huge pork tenderloin and shrimp risotto plus all the fixings- mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, salad, bread. Yea, I pretty much want to die after eating everything. To make matters worse, we always do this dinner at midnight on Christmas Eve and then open presents afterwards. Eating+presents+3am=SEVERE heartburn.
Ah, tis the season to be merry.

My family isn't very large, so sometimes we roast or smoke our own individual cornish hens. One year, we did a seafood theme and had stuffed crab, sauteed shrimp, fish and chips, etc... Another year, we did lamb chops. And yet another year, we had Chinese. Maybe you could just make a lot of dishes that are your favorites that you don't often get to eat... Some people go out to eat on Christmas so that they don't have to mess with cooking and cleaning.

I like duck. But you know what, as cheesy as it sounds, I am tempted to try one of thoe Turducken things, or whatever it is called. It's a stuffed chicken, rolled into a duck, rolled into turkey meat I believe. Roast potatoes, lots of gravy, red cabbage with apples, and a couple glasses of wine.

The list is endless!
