I have tried all the scrapers available around here and I'm tired of the same old thing: window is curved, scraper is straight, meaning that only a tiny little bit of the scraper is usable. So I scrape and scrape at the frost on the windows wondering why they don't make a scraper with an angle? There has GOT to be a better way!! What's your idea? Maybe somebody has the cure--SELL IT, baby, SELL IT!!! (I'll buy it!!)

Move to FL. Last time I bothered to SCRAPE a window was to get love bugs off.

A credit card works great, as does a scraper that has a thin brass scraper blade. There are also some great spray on defrosters that actually prevent refreeze, but your windshield wiper blades need to be in good shape for these to work well.

Try stretching a tarp or heavy clear plastic over your windshield when parked in the cold. Canadian Tire sells a windshield washer fluid heater. Winter tip; when parking a vehicle which will be started in the cold, leave the temperature adjustment on " high "and in the " defrost " position. Making these adjustments in the cold, often cause component failure.

All car windshields are not the same shape...so you would have to make one for ever different car made...have you tried scraping the windshield horizontally....If it's not below freezing I pour..Cold water on my windshield while the wipers are on.(.Never pour HOT) water on the windshield it could crack it..

I don't scrap my car is garaged, but I would start my car and turn on the defroster, unless you have a car pre 1960.

Or you can scape with the curve instead of across it.
