My husband and I will be visiting with his family for Christmas this year and they will all be exchanging gifts. We are tight on money so I'm trying to think of something little to give all of them, maybe like $10 a gift or less if possible. Any creative ideas?

Grandparents are always suckers for those frames with unusual shapes cut out, with various pictures of you and your husband inserted. Those are relatively inexpensive.

Those blanket/throws are always nice to give, I know I enjoy getting them!! Books on whatever they are interested in are always nice too..something practical because grandparents, aunts and uncles have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years!!!

Good grief! I buy my granddaughter about $600-800 worth of clothes every year. I make stuff for her. I send my nieces birthday presents and Christmas presents. Generally I think giving gifts of money is lazy, so I try to include gift receipts instead of giving money. Still giving money is better than nothing.

Okay, The safest presents to give to Uncles Aunts etc is generally cosmetics.
Something like powder and soap (packaged beautifully)
also a really nice scarf- ( you never have enough scarfs)
and another is Handkerchiefs ( really pretty ones) They would all come under the $10 mark. ( you could actually do the embroidery yourself ?? there own names).

Hope that helps.

Sometimes Walgreens and Rite Aid.

I used to get my grandmother a lottery ticket.

I have given nieces and nephews gift certificates to Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts, Ritas, and McDonald's.

Also, I tend to look all year for gifts. If I see somthing interesting, for $5, I buy it.

If they write letters
stationary and stamps
if they have a hobby
supplies are good
if they like to get perms
pay for one
think of the person and the personality- what this person enjoys and go from there.

I always like getting tins of homeade cookies. Go get a couple of nice recipes and make them and put them in fancy tins. A hit to be sure.

Something like a nice Hallmark ornament or candle. It's hard when you don't know them.
