last year (i was 16) my grandma got me a thomas the tank engine lunchbox! literally it was a metal tin
1.) thomas the tank engine is for 6 yr old boys, not 16 yr old girls
2.) i dont bring my lunch to school, and if i did i would bring it in a brown paper bag, not a TIN
but i love her anyway so pretended to like it!

This requires some thought. Maybe it was the $1.39 air freshener from my ex mother in law. Or the little cheese & meat sample plate that the dog wouldn't eat. Or it could be that Christmas with my 1st 2 foster dogs. They were being wormed at the same time, & they left me little gifts ALL OVER THE PLACE! The absolutely best present was when my late stepmother gave me my Dad's rings & his watch, & the flag from his grave. She was a good woman, & she was the best thing to ever happen to my Dad. Good Luck & Blessings

First off, I can't believe you haven't played Boggle!! Sorry, I love that game!...lol.
The worst thing I got that I pretended to like was ....hmmm...I don't really know. I guess either I can't remember, or I have been pretty satisfied.
Play that game!!
Merry Christmas!

A wicker soap duck from my boyfriend. He gave it to me the first christmas we were together. It has been the butt of many gift jokes since then! After 3 1/2 years together now he is gradually getting better (touch wood). I'll have to wait another 26 days to see what he comes up with this year. Fingers crossed!

Tacky stinky bubble bath. I get it every year. Ugh! I really don't want it. I only shower- have no time for a bubble bath anyway.
I once got a silk bra and panties from my mom which I opened in front of everyone. Talk about embarrassing. I think I was 12!

This happened about 6 years ago during a Christmas celebration at my father's girlfriend's house. Her son, who lives out of state, was there with his fiance. Since she had only met me and her son's fiance a couple of times, she kept getting us mixed up.
When it came time to open presents, she gave me a gift that she had actually had bought for her son's fiance. It was a hideous sweater with a built in turtleneck. When I opened it, I made a really excited face. My father's girlfriend felt SO bad as she swooped in, announced that it was for her son's fiance, but she told me that saw how happy I was and she would get me one of the sweaters as well. I told her that was ok. :P

My sis-in-law was selling cookbooks for a fundraiser and I told her no thanks, I had too many already and didn't want to buy one. So guess what I got from her--the fundraiser cookbook I wouldn't buy. I guess she had to unload them somehow.
