I don't know of any houshold products that are pure ether but engine starting fluid is usually a mixture of ether and heptane. The boiling boints are quite different so they could be separated if desired. They sell it at car part stores, hardware stores etc. Be careful it's very flammable!

About the only commercial product that contains diethyl ether (ethoxyethane) is a starter fluid for diesel and gasoline engines. It is usually sold in a presurized can which is sprayed into the intake of engines in cold weather. It is too volatile and explosive to be used as a solvent for household items.
