Okay, it takes place over Thanksgiving. But Robert Downy, Jr. is incredibly funny and original.

I have got two Christmas Traditions....National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Christmas Eve day.
The second is A Christmas Carol staring Alastar Sim in the evening.

'A Chrismas Carol' with Alastair Sim and 'The Bishop's Wife' with Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. I have both on dvd so that I can see them every holiday!
Note to Kate: The Christmas Story house is actually in Tremont at the corner of W 11th and Rowley Ave and is now a museum.

Have to say "Scrooged", "While you were Sleeping", "Ebbie" and of course A Christmas Carol -who doesnt love Fragggggggillle! love that movie...
also the classics - Holiday Inn, Charlie Brown Xmas,Twas the Night Before Christmas and of course the Grinch (animated)
PS - my husband says Die Hard...just not xmas without Bruce Willis blowing something up hahahaha

i love christmas movies and can't pick a favorite and honestly what makes the holiday is spending the time with my family watching the movies, not the movie itself.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It is one of the funniest movies because you just know that all the crap that happens to the Griswold's probably happens to people every year.

Can't beat the inner monolog, the unpleasant truths about real family and the memories of things you can relate to.
