I don't think that there is a heaven as the christians describe it. They are adequately vague about it that their descriptions are meaningless anyway.
If there is a place where good people go as a reward in the afterlife, then I'd have to place myself as an obvious candidate.
Choosing your heaven would require people to have a better understanding of what makes them happy, otherwise they'd be stuck in something more like hell due to a bad decision on their part. That's part of the problem with normal life, too.
Unfortunately, I can't really describe what my heaven would be like. I have no idea what would make me happy if I didn't have my body pushing me.

The question is an agnostic one which most Atheists would refuse to answer. However, I will paint a picture of what I consider a blissful state.
No stress, no competition, comfortable in my own skin in a multi-colored milieu. Some of the colors are unknown on earth. Soft classical music, mainly Mozart and Chopin, but short spells of Beethovan and Dvorak in the mornings. And all types of other music interspersed through the day and evening. Buddhist and Native chants, large choral groups..
The food is rich, the wine sweet and smooth. There are several different vistas: deep space, meadows, cool valleys. And the sky is forever changing with intergalactic rainbows and stuff like that.
There are many people but it's not crowded. The people are either deep in thought or smiling tenderly and the air is filled with the laughter of children.
I want for nothing, my mind and body are very active, and yet at peace...

It will be a grassy area next to a trout stream in the Eastern Sierras. It will always be late Spring. Warm days and cool nights. It's called Rush Creek, on the June Lake loop. To me it's heaven on earth. Relaxing to the sound of the water, line floating in the water. Hopefully a tug or two to keep it interesting, but no catches, don't want my relaxing interrupted.

I will be standing in front of the gates of Heaven which are made of Pearl. The gates will open and my dad will be standing there waiting to give me a hug and kiss on my head like he did when he was alive. He will walk me through a beautiful garden with beautiful birds and my collie will run to greet me. On our way to meet with Jesus I'll notice the streets of gold and how vivid the colors of the sky and flowers are. Then finally like the trip to the Land of Oz we'll see the place where we will meet Jesus. This beautiful throne will be just over a hill and it will sparkle like diamonds and everyone who has gone before me will be there to greet me.

There will be lots of books, magic, horses, and at least an ocean. A hammock would be nice, too.
