well it all depends on the school and state and the year that you graduate. . . i graduate this year and we are required to have 24 credits based on the graduation requirements. . . check with your counselor

Every state is different; every school in the state is different.
I needed 16; I had 22. But, that was in Arkansas in 1961!

4 year plan- 24
3 year plan- 18
