I don't really know the last time they were ranked or how many times, but they have had good teams in the past. Georgia Tech beat them in a bowl game in 1952 I believe 17-14 and Baylor was ranked about 7th in the nation.

I'm not sure Baylor has ever been ranked with the top 25 HIGH SCHOOL football teams.

I'm not 100% sure about ranking but, in 1974, they won what was then, the Southwest Conference championship, went 8-2 and, beat TEXAS in the game that here, in TEXAS is known as the miracle on the Brazos.

I'm not sure, but looking into their past, they've beaten the USC Trojans twice in 5 tries. That's crazy.
