I'd say wanting to become a nicer person makes you halfway there already. Nobody can be completely, 100% purely nice all the time, but simply having the desire to be a nicer person and feeling that there is more you could be doing to be nice, is really what being nice is all about. =D edit: you can't do everything. You can't help everyone, you can't say "how are you" to everyone, you can't smile at everyone or give charity to everyone. It's just not possible to do that. That's why I say, being nice is having the desire to be nice, and remembering that desire whenever you get the opportunity to be nice.

Yes, I have a 77 yr. old neighbor and I do a lot for her, take her to appts., clean house, feed her dog, pick up scrips, etc. She told her daughter that I was one of the nicest folks she knows. I do understand others feelings and am very empathetic. I'm glad you are too! Not enough nice folks these days! Have a great day!

I never get angry and I almost never complain about anything, if someone does something I don't like I get over it and move on, I'm respectful and I give compliments...so yes, I'm very nice!
