do you think its to much to allow my 13 year old son to have provacative posters of christina aguilera on his wall?should i worry hes doing more than looking at them?

he doesn't need the posters to do more 'than look at them' he's doing that already posters or not.....he's a teenage boy.......

You shouldn't worry if he masturbates. It is a normal and healthy part of growing up. Worry if he brings a girl into his room and locks the door!
What do you mean by "provacative posters"? Are her boobs and rear end hanging out, or is she just wearing tight clothes? Knowing her she is probably half naked, and to be honest, that isn't something I would allow my child to hang on his wall.

Ask any man your age who they had on their wall. They all had someone. I had Sandra Dee on mine (yes, I'm THAT old) and she had on a very skimpy 2 piece for that day and age. It's part of being a teenage boy. Remember the Farrah Fawcett poster with her nipples pointing out? If he still has the same posters up when he is 21 yr old, then you may have a problem. He should have graduated to real women by then.

Yes. I would not allow that. It's one thing to allow your teenagers space to express themselves. It's another to condone things that you just don't agree with. How about this. Tell him he can have a Christina but tell him to find a more decent looking one. Let him know you don't really like her but you will respect that he does (say it even if you do like her, so he think you are making compromise to). But he has to respect you by taking the provacative poster off and replace it with something more decent. Tell him he can keep the provacative poster. But its Christina Aguilera, good luck on finding her in a decent pose. I really don't like her.

As long as it's not a naked posters of girls out of Playboy or Hustler, I think that's okay. My daughter is 14 and I wouldn't see anything wrong if she had like one of those HOT WWE guys like John Zena in his speedos on her wall. : ) What else would he possibly be doing with them? I mean he's a 13 yr old and it's normal for him to probably start (if he hasn't already) gotten curious about girls. Don't worry though he isn't gonna turn into some pervert,,lol jk,,let him grow up. I think it's normal. I have two nephews who are now 17 and 15 and I remember what it was like when they were that age.

If he has reached puberty already, then he is probably already doing more when the lights are out. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. That is perfectly normal for a teenager with acrobatic hormones.

Sounds like a natural, normal healthy boy to me!! You should be glad hes not disabled, drug using, etc. If hes having a bit of healthy masturbation it means he's normal!!

He is not your little boy anymore....That's part of life sorry..My son is 13 too.....Time to let them grow up..I know it is a hard thing to do but, we have to as their mothers.....good luck
