my doc prescribed me these and said i would not hve a period at all. i ve been on them for 8 days now and have had my period for 3 days. i am not sure if these are the rite bcp for me. will i continue to get a period if i continue to take these?

This bleeding that you are having called breakthrough bleeding (which can act a lot like a period but isn't) can be as a result of trying to adjust to the medication, but I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let them know how concerned you are about this bleeding and that you would like to consider trying something else to see if that helps.
