Forget it! Echo Power Blend is a universal oil that replaces all common mix ratios. I've used it for years in my Echo chainsaw, Echo backblower,Toro snowthrower, and Jacobsen edger with no problems, although my backblower can get a little smokey. I get it at Home Depot. Takes alot of hassle out of trying to remember which machine gets which mix.

There is an old saying that goes " When all else fails, read the directions" You forgot to tell us whether you have a 2 cycle or a 4 cycle engine. In a 2 cycle you add oil to the gas and the ratio will or should be on the snow blower and will be in the directions, if it is a 4 cycle engine there will be a crankcase like on your car. If push comes to shove call the manufacturer but have the model number when you do.

That machine takes a 50 to 1 mix. That is 2-1/2 ounces oil to 1 gallon gas ( premium only ).

In addition to the other two answers ( which I agree are good answers). If you use a synthetic oil for a 2 stroke premix it will go farther. IE. 40 or 50 to 1 mix of gas to oil. Usually 32 to 1 is the norm for non synthetics.

Instead of all this guessing why don't you call a local shop that sells the machine and get the right answer? Using the wrong oil mix can effect the performance, starting, and life of the machine. It is important to use the manufactor's recommended mix and it is easy to find that out from the manufactor.

What I do is this! 32-1 is 1/2c oil to 1gal, 16-1 is 1c oil to the gal. smaller snow blowers use 32-1, so 1/4c oil to a gal of gas should work, 16-1 ratios are for heavy chain saws and ATVs snow mobiles.
