hi aim just looking to get a brand new battery for my ford truck.. and just kind wondering if you have any idea. maybe Canadain Tire, wal-mart . I don't really know what kind or brand... please give a hand.

I would suggest Walmart's Maxx series batteries. They are made by the East Penn Battery Company in Lyon Station PA. The parent company is Deka Batteries. They have a full free 3 yr. warranty, and from then on are pro rated. A Maxx (Deka) Battery that will fit a Ford Truck will have 850 - 1000 cold cranking amps. They sell for $69.00 exchange. Consumers reports ranks them near the top in every size group.
All but the $185.(cough) Sears batteries are made in Mexico. As you know the non - Sears Gold batteries are pretty much junk these days.The Sears high dollar ($185.00) battery is made by AC Delco. I got this from an AC Delco sales rep.
Innerstate batteries are made by Thompson Controls, the same people who make Auto Zone's batteries. These are actually pretty good. However Innerstates warranty is pretty short ( 1.5 yrs.)

interstate battery there great call 1800crankit for neerest dealer they are all over ive been selling them for 21 years average life is 5 to 11 years yes i have had them last over 11 years
get the biggest one that will fit yours will either be a mtp 65 or a mt 34 either one will do you good

One of the best things to look for is the CCA. Cold Cranking Amps. That is how much power the battery can deliver. The higher the number the stronger it is.

It's hard to buy a bad battery now day's. Any good retail outlet should work for you.

A Sears Die Hard is about the best that you can get..
This is all that we ever used on the farm..
