i have a 2002 ford mustang and the headlight covers are plastic which have turned cloudy and a little yellow. i was wondering has anyone ever tried headlight restoration kits? i saw one at wal-mart today and on the website www.myheadlights.com
i was wondering if this really works and if it really is easy to do.
any suggestions would be appreciated

Yes I have used the kits and they do work.. Just follow the instructions and you will be pleased with the results.
I have also used plastic polish made by Maguires - this works well too.

I use a tub of green turtle wax polishing compound. It works great. You may have to rub it on every 6 months or so, but it sure beats the cost of new headlights.

I would find someone who knows how to use a buffer.I`ve done it on few cars,as long as it`s on the outside of your headlights most likely it can be buffed off. I know this because I do it for a living.
