Toes shortened. Where the heck did you hear that? I have never heard of that before and it's obvious that I live in the US. Anyway, not all of us are shallow. That's dumb. Remember that it's mostly Hollywood that acts like this and Hollywood only makes up a small percentage of a state.

I saw that story on the TV yesterday! Why in the world would people do such stupid sh*t?!?! They could have put that money towards something else. I wear a size 11 and you don't see me running to a plastic surgeon saying "Can you chop my toes off, I wanna wear a size 9?"................No!!!! God gave me these size 11s and I'm making the best out of them. To answer your question, even 2 feet of water is too deep for some people!

Yes, superficial, shallow, and vein....but not everyone. Some of us are still regular people.

Could you imagine how nice it would be if they put that money toward a good cause, like world hunger, or fighting against animal cruelty?

I'm American and I think the majority of us (not including me) are extremely ignorant and/or shallow. It doesn't help that our president is a total jackass either.
