I agree with everyone else and your doctor. You still have 3 1/2 weeks left in your pregnancy and I know that you are probably sick of it, but it is what is best for your baby. It needs the nourishment and the time to have it's lungs finish maturing. Hang in there.

I would say listen to your doctor, at least wait a few more days. You can try a lot of walking though. My friend couldn't dialate and they told her to walk up and down the halls of the hospital to help her dialate, but she was also almost a week overdue and if that didn't work they were going to induce labor. I know you have to be miserable, I just wish I could have the blessing of going through that. I have been trying for over a year and a half and haven't had any luck so just count your blessings and be thankful that you are able to have the baby!! Good Luck!!

you're only 36 weeks! 4 weeks is a lot & crucial to the baby's health. There is no way your baby will be healthier on the outside at 36 weeks. He/she still gets nutrients from you regardless whether you eat or not.
& what does your doctor mean if you were to dilate at least 1cm then you can deliver??? You have 9 more cm to go even then!
Just be patient.

Listen to your doctor. Even though you've been sick, your baby has received all the nutrients it needs and it is better the longer she is in there. Even at 1 cm you won't deliver the baby. Unless you are close to 3 cm and having regular contractions, most hospital will send you home. Relax, your doctor knows what is best.

as long as you're on prenatal vitamins and your dr is ok with you being pregnant i wouldn't try to rush the process. a month might not seem like a long time but your baby needs that time to develope. why take the risk in trying to deliver early if your baby might have complications? my pregnancy was hard too and i know you feel tired of being pregnant but think about whats right for your child.

Girl, let your baby grow 1 week more inside of you. You only FEEL that she'll be better if out early, but less than 37 weeks is still Preterm you know. Your baby needs more time to fatten up and mature her lungs. Dont worry that she wont be healthy, babies are great leechers and it will be you who will suffer vitamin deficiencies and not them coz mother nature prioritizes babies over their mommies' health.
Trust you doctor here. She has seen more deliveries than you.

if your doctor says no... than i would listen to her... you don't want your baby to have to be hooked up to all those tubes..
