If the wreath is made using a floral foam wreath ring then you can get a shallow pan and soak the ring in water and let it drain so that it is no longer dripping and then rehang it. If it is just wired together without the floral foam then there isn't anything you can do except let it dry naturally.

If you are hanging it outside, don't worry too much about it, the cold air will keep it fresh. If it is to be indoors, I would get Could 9 or Wiltpruf anti-dessicant and spray it to help keep it from drying out. Do the spraying outdoors, and try not to get it on any bows or decorations. You can get it at a garden center.

if it's outside, it will stay green, but there really is no specific way cause all a green wreath is is branches intertwined.
