It's a standard shift. I am sure that doesn't make difference. but thought I should mention it.

you will need to flash the computer with a scan tool that is the only way with out causing the check engine light to come on

You don't! If it's too low you either have a bad Idle Air Control motor(IAC) or the area around the throttle plate is very dirty. Usually the latter will show itself if you just replaced the battery because you reset the 'adaptive strategy' in the computer.

You don`t , it`s controlled by the ecu. Sometimes you can adjust the TPS but unless you know the specs I would not recommend it.
