My husband and his friend Eddie, kicked a ball on to the roof of the school. It was a small school so he and his mate climbed up on to the roof and got a eyefull of a teacher having a bath, through the glass of the roof, so his friend leaned on the glass to have a closer look and fell through the glass and fell on top of her in the bath and she went ballistic and they got detention for 2wks. lol
This is a true story!

I don't know about the "good kid" part, but I was never on detention. I never bugged any one, student, faculty or the janitor. (Well, other than saying stuff like: Jake, Jake fell in the lake: Jake, Jake swallowed a snake: Jake, Jake came out of the lake with a bellyache).

I did in elementary school because I never did my homework, but then my mom switched shifts at work and was home in the evenings so she made me do my work at home. Now I have a BA in Modern Languages with an emphasis in French and Secondary Education.

eh...i havent gotten a lot of detentions...only like 5 or 6...i still got a lot of years to go though

i was never on detention because i did what i was told to do not saying that i was a good child but i respect my elders and listen to those who taught me.

i got a detention once for not understanding the homework assignment (my teacher even told me i didn't belong in her honors class) and i almost got one today because i had a hollister sweater on and...long story

they didn't have detention in my days, i went to a school run by the nuns and if you got into trouble it was the wooden cane, which i got regularly!

Got in a lot of fights in Jr High, but they were in the locker room and the coach never caught us fighting.
