Ok, so is it obvious that I just found out I was prego! I'm freaking out cause I haven't a clue what to do. I know I need to get to the doctors ASAP, which should be in a week or so, once my insurance goes threw. But what in the meantime? I've started taking a prenatal vitamin. But I feel horrible! I am sleeping non-stop. I'm very tired & have an increase lack of energy. I don't feel like eating, or cleaning, or even waking up for work. I just have a very carefree... careless attitude. I'm sure this is all very normal. But I didn't know if there was maybe something I should do or something I could take to boost my mood? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Try to not go hungry for longer periods of time. Take a snack, and a drink of water every hour or every other hour atleast.

All what you have mentioned, is the initial shock of being pregnant. Once it is passed, you will be feeling much more normal :) so dont worry.

The more you read up and find out about pregnancy and caring for your baby in the womb, the more careful and caring you will become.

Take good care of yourself and it possible subscribe to pregnancy weekly sites, that will send you updates every week to tell you what to expect each week.

Being a mom is the best thing to happen to a woman (a close contender with being married) really.
Give yourself a break for a day or two more and then get back to your routine.

Good luck!

you should start on prenatal vitamins right away. you can buy them over the counter in most drug stores, that should help some, but the first 3 months are always the roughest lol try to eat a little bit at a time during the whole day, and drink OJ or juices and water to help keep you up and going. good luck and congrats (just pray you dont get morning sickness) LOL

Just make that appointment and take your vitamins. The doctor may switch your vitamins.

Being fatigued and not feeling good are just part of pregnancy. You should feel better after about the 12th week. Enjoy the 2nd trimester because the fatigue returns in the third.

It's all normal and just an FYI. Most doctor's won't see you until you are 8 weeks or more so don't worry too much about your insurance. Good luck!
