There was a story on Frontline last night that showed how people & organizations spin positive things about candidates to make them sound negative & use them against them. For instance, Hillary's 50% acceptance, even though it's higher than all the others, has been turned around to mean, as someone here just said, that 50% are against her. They also said that if a private person was slandered as the politicians are, they'd have a right to sue & would win because that is against the law. However, in politics, there is a double standard & anything goes. You can say & make up anything about any of them, even though it's false with no basis in fact & it's acceptable. Many politicians are hiring people who are doing just that, & it can not only ruin a person's chances of becoming president but their reputation for life as well, because the majority of people buy it (as they did with Kerry). The only way they can salvage themselves, & only sometimes, is to counter-attack hard & swiftly. Everyone should watch that show, it's a real eye-opener!

The main reason is that she has not been elected yet. In Nov of 08 the American people will decide why she should or shouldn't be. For me, I've not made up my mind yet but it looks like this will be the first time that I vote Republican since Reagan, unless the nominee is that ex-New York mayor. None of the Democrates have shown me anything.

I'm not a fan of hers and would never in a million years consider voting for her due to her support for the war in Iraq and the Patriot Act. Having said that, I doubt she'd be taking time off on account of menstruation, which is the obvious sexist implication on the part of whatever imbecile you were listening to on the radio, and even if she did that wouldn't qualify as an increase in vacation time compared to our current fearless leader. My prediction is that she'll be our next president, though for very different reasons than you that doesn't make me happy in the least.

Since I support Hillary, I am just going to reply in response to what others are saying:

1. And you think there are no flip floppers on the Republican side? Their flippers are even larger than Hillary’s assuming that she has flippers.
2. She is interesting In expanding on what her husband did for this country,s he wants to make up for the lost time his agenda had because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
3. Hillary is tune with Americans, just not the Americans that you normally associate with I guess.
4. Hillary far too left. What a joke!
5. So there are not people on Republican side who are lie too? Acoording to her Truth-o-meer, her statements are honnest and accurate. I agree that she had had false ones, but hardly any, and never a Pants-on-Fire that I have seen given to one particular or more ,GOP candidate.
6. Exactly what Condor just said.
7. People give me a break. Hillary is not a communist- just a communist according to your favorite issue maybe, but if you sum it all up, Hillary is not a communist.
8. Exactly what oldestme said!

I will be polite since I have no good things to say about her. But let me ask you this. Why would you want anyone to be president that 50% of the country hates (both parties). Do you not think it is time for some peace? If you vote in Hillary it will be a blood bath. She will accomplish nothing, that is guaranteed.

Lack of experience, closely associated with the most corrupt administration in history, a closet communist, most of WJ's political problems can be traced to her, says whatever is politically expedient at the time, personally corrupt, etc, etc, etc.

I personally intend to vote for her. I think that some of the others have given us a big bunch of junk to listen to and nothing to offer that is worth considering. I will vote for her. Not everyone thinks as I do. But I think she has the knowledge to complete the job. And the experience. After all when her husband was in office he often consulted with her. So good for her.

I'd say she would make bad decisions ANY time of the month, and she does have balls but in this case it's not a compliment. She's a lying, cheating, power hungry socialist. She wants to 'seize' corporate profits, which is a dangerous precedent even when you're talking about the oil companies. She also wants to seize 40% of your income for her commie programs like universal health care and baby savings accounts.

I am quite sure she has the nerve to use nuclear weapons. I don't like her or any of the candidates so it doesn't matter. Just as long as she doesn't try swiping the furniture in the White House and Air Force One again.
