In the beginning it is liking and lust both which over a period of time turns into an affectionate relationship. If there is sincerity , trust, mutual understanding, appreciation and so many other things, it goes further which u may call love. This is the last stage in the process of development of love. So I jeer at those who claim to be in love at first sight. It's liking and lust both. . If I really love someone I'll die in her place without second thought and she too would do the same for me. Suppose someone has fired at me and my wife is there . By reflex action she would jump into fire line to protect me unmindful that she can get killed. Same case with me. This is love and not lust. Lust dies with the body but not love. I might have lust for so many woman in the world but not the love. How easily people cheat when they say 'Honey, I love u and I can't live without u'. In the back of their mind they plan to sleep with each other as fast as possible. When lust for body is over and their is no sensuality between them, then only they can say whether they love each other or not. So apparently what appears is lust. Love/hate appears later. This is the reason behind most marriages which end into divorce.

In Love -- at my age ... Lust is not something that we think about first -- we want companionship, good friendship, knowing someone and their personality -- and then ... after all this -- then physical attraction can come into play (but we already know that we find each other quite compatible).

the one that i'm living with was lust but the one i can't bring my self to tell i'm so in love which makes it hard to let her know..........
