that dent is on a plastic bumper may be able to fix with a heat gun and a little pressure from behind less than $100 at a body shop maby can be done at home

if you need a new bumper skin there about $350 to $500

You're looking at between $650 - $1,100 depending on the area you live in. This is also considering you take it to a decent shop....not Maaco. I personally wouldn't take my Audi to Maaco ;)

The reasoning behind the cost is mostly the bumper, chances are it cannot be easily repaired. A new unit (casing) must be purchased to make the repair feasible. This in addition to a tailight (if that's busted)...subtract $150 or so if it is not. The correct paint and clear coat in the exact Audi color and the labor will make up the rest of the cost.

If you can afford to get it done in a decent shop, do it. If you get a "bargain" or if you try to "pop" it out yourself you're going to see the difference and so will any buyers in the future.

Hope this helps!

try this your self with a hair blow dryer on med. heat not to close but heat it evenly and if you can get your hand under the bumper cover push out evenly on the dent then use a plastic bag fill in behind to hold it out *behind some covers is a pad of styrofoam* there are buttons on the bottom of the bumper that can be removed make sure you have gloves on and be very careful not to burn the paint 5 min intervels with the heat to make sure you dont burn or melt it i hope this helps because i have done it on a buick turned out great.... take you time!

Your other posters are right, a dent on a plastic bumper can be rubbed out from the inside. I used a short piece of 2x4 to push one back out on a honda bumper once.

That is a urethane bumper cover. If you take it off and warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun you should be able to push it back in place. It won't be perfect but will be better than that. Then If you take it to a shop they could finish it and paint it. Save you a few bucks. The actual bumper is behid it, if it is damaged you will need to have it straitened as well. or replaced.

If you dent is like that one, you should be able to pop it out manually. If you can't get to it from underneath, use a plunger to pull it out. Save your money for something you really want and not the body shop!!!

Is plastic, if you can pull that part out you could pop it back up. See if you can reach it from underneath.
