no, this aint about me, i was upset a little bit ago, but i write poems whenever somethin comes into my head. im only 13...is this good?
havin trouble explaining this feeling inside me
dont wanna feel vulnerable
dont wanna be afraid
dont wanna wear my heart on my sleeve
if this comes out
this deep feeling
i'd be screaming it to the world
and opening old wounds
who knows what others Could say
u never kno what they Would say
everyones opinion is different
yet still the same
being judged isnt good
and it leaves u feeling empty
like theres no one in the world
who understands u
feelings and emotions
are a strong weakness
when u let it all out
u never kno what will happen
people may judge
and people may not
but this feeling, this emotion
makes me hurt a lot
being teased
being vulnerable
for everyone to see
makes it more uncomfortable
to be me
people can use things against u
always bringing it up
it makes u feel like a fool
or sad, like an abandoned pup
when ur a joke all ur life
when u just wanna flee
thinkin of this makes u say
"this emotion wont come out of me"
letting this feeling show
being open about it
may make people better
but it can be uncomfortable
like an itchy sweater
everything that happens, happens for a reason
but some things take a turn for the worse
like a lost cub in the jungle
i dont wanna be vulnerable...

yes, i am 13. i love poetry, sorry for the "u" and all that, i just wrote it a couple minutes before i posted it. Yea, i kno some people may steal it, i hope they don't, but I do write poetry a lot, this is just one. I do like MCR, sorry if you dont...
This is different from my others because i normally write about love and friends. I have been picked on in school from 3rd to 7th grade, I have never been popular, just sorta in between. Thx for the answers!

Wow, that's alot to take in but I truely liked it. It's deep. The only thing that I think kinda took away the intensity was the rhyming at the end with "the pup, the sweater, &the cub in a jungle". Other than that I really felt it and think it was very very good ! I hope that if this poem resembles our life or how you feel that everything works out and that you know that everyone feels alone and gets made fun of in their life. It's a fact so don't feel alone.

I have not read your poem. I do not need to, in order to answer your question of it it is any good.
What I am about to say, if you really understand, will help you for the rest of your life.
There is no good or bad when it comes to poetry.
There just "is". "Is" is enough. Your poem now exists.
The fact that it now exists is beyond good or bad.
The fact that you wrote something that you felt emotionally strongly about and you were creative enough to do so says all there is to say about it.
If you have the Faith in your work to believe in it, then that is all that matters.
You may get 100 answers to your question. 50 may say good, 50 may say bad. So then what? Do you write something else for the 50 who like it, or for the 50 who don't like it?
Their opinion does not matter. Yours does.
Go beyond the limits of if something is "good" or "bad".
And you will see that your true talents, in any area, will shine.

Wow, what an emotional poem! I can feel what has been bothering you and yes this is a really good poem. It's really nice to see that you were able to express yourself so eloquently. It's really wonderful that you were able to channel all your thoughts/feelings into something so constructive. This is SO healthy! I do this all the time too, and I feel much better in the end.
I highly encourage you to continue expressing yourself in poems when you need to. It will make you feel much better about yourself!

try to remember when writing...dont try to be "good" for everbody. everything that you write , you should cherish because that is your blood on the paper [and when i say "blood" i mean your feelings]
even if you wrote about a damned tree, love all your work.
i thought the poem was excellent.

What a great job! Have you discussed people teasing you with your parents? 13 is a difficult age. I was poor & couldn't have nice clothes & I too was teased and ridiculed.
Hang in there, it does get better. I bet you are a shy 13, too, huh?

Other than a few grammatical errors (which may have been intentional) I think it's also very good.
