Dissent is not treasonous.

Suggesting that opposition to Bush and his war in Iraq is treason- woops, sorry, "treeson" is just plain stupid, and I can only hope for both our sakes that you're doing so in a very tongue-in-cheek way. There is nothing "treesonous" [sic] about holding a president accountable concerning his rationale for going to war, particularly when the latter becomes more discredited, and the ensuing consequences more disastrous by the day.

My husband liberates on trees, son, all the time! But Georgie wasn't there cuz hubby might have bashed him with the Tree if he was watching from the Bush! You know how men are! They get kinda spooked if a man is hiding in the Bush spying on him liberating himself on yonder tree, son!

ConfuzeUs say: Man must not liberate on treeson if has bush in handson!

Amen, let's eat.. Are y'all kinda confused too? (sigh)

Challenging our president is our duty - not treason. Especially when one is so clearly incompetent as this one.
Noone wants us to lose any war - the only sane definition of winning a war is when we do not have to fight it anymore. When the president defines a strategy that aims for that we will listen.
And you keep up the 2008 denial thing. In 2006 Republicans were lining up to predict they would keep the house and the senate. Instead the American people delivered them an almighty pants kicking for 6 years of abject failure by both thier congress and the administration. Refusing to learn anything whatsoever from that is hardly going to endear you lot to those same voters is it?

I think that is how conservatives have tried to shut off criticisms of their failed policies.

Ain't working no more.

Edit - "treeson?" I usually let typos pass (I make enough), but dude are you serious? Pull your question and save yourself the humiliation.

No. We are not "at war." Only Congress can declare war, and they haven't. Plus, thinking an elected official cannot be criticized is an un-American attitude.
