Please no hardcore Halo fanboys that do not give props to any other game other than Halo. I want average everyday gamers like myself to say which they believe is better. I've personally played both and like both, but love Call of Duty 4 more than Halo 3.

I would say Call of Duty 4. I also love both games, but I like the variety in gameplay in call of duty and realism as far as the campaign goes, the multiplayer is really fun too, cause you can have large teams, like a counter strike

I have played both Halo and COD (all of them). I am better at Halo but COD is fun because of the realism involved in the game. I love it how if you are going down you still have a few seconds to plug off a few rounds and bring someone down with you. On the other hand I think Halo is a more team based game because it is more difficult to take someone down by yourself. I am for Halo 3 but Call of Duty 4 is awesome too. Both great games.

Halo 3 and call of duty 4 are both great games and should be played often. Me myself? I like halo because of the futuristic weapons and storyline.

You have to remember that Halo 3 is a awesome story but not the greatest campain its more of a online game. Call of Duty 3 is also great game but will die out eventually so what i would say is go with halo 3.

if u like playing online and don't give a s**t about single player, id get halo 3. but if u play single player a lot and like playing online once in a while, id go for call of duty 4

I've never played halo, but I love how Call of Duty does things ,I played COD2 and LOVED it, so 4 was just a natural step for me. Its a great game and I recommend it to anyone, including you.

I may be a fanboy, but i did love CoD4. I just think that H3's achievements were more skill based and harder to achieve. CoD had about 5 skill achievements. Graphics were perfect for both games: CoD was more realistic and rustic, which is perfect because it's supposed to feel that way, H3's lighting and graphics were amazing, H3's more fantasy and vibrant, perfect for the game.
Both AI were phenominal, the higher the dificulty, it actually got harder.
Gameplay was great for both.

call of duty 4, halo is really not much better than halo 2. Cod4 introduces viseral hardcore girtty fps multiplayer, the single player is great too but short. COD4 all the way thouhg.
