Whatever you do, don't send money to an 'employer.' That is a scam. If you want a job, you either offer a service or work for someone. If you send money, you'll just get a packet of junk mail of further scam opportunities. Whatever you do, don't send money.

I am on disability for m.s. I do not get free housing, food stamps, and have to pay lots of taxes because I have a husband that works, so my meager disability is taxed. I have never gotten any special treatment or products.

If you are on Social Security Supplemental Income, they have a program called "Ticket to Work". According to what they say, you can earn $2 from the job in exchange for deducting $1 from your benefit. It mean that for every $2 that you earned from the job, the government going to take $1 from your benefit. It is obvious that you can't dedect more than $600 otherwise that would collapse.

Finding a job that work of your home have to take dues dilligence. I have several experiences in helping people like you who looking for work at home. Here are some of the tips.

Majority of the work at home job are 100% sale based and they report to the government via W-2 form.

Envelope stuffing is 100% scam because people are being paid hourly instead of per envelope.

Secret shopping is deduction only. Even those they say they will pay you, they only going to reimburse what you purchase from the store. Therefore, shopping is useless when you are broke and looking for income. You could sell the item that you bought but that about it.

SMC is pretty much like buying and selling at a high price. It not for everyone because it like Amway. You buy the products but if you can't sell the product then you have excess stuff. In the end, you are liquidating and losing money. People who have huge money in their pocket will buy large volume from SMC and those are the people that making the money. You saves money on the stuff you buy if you were buying large volume.

If you are looking for some work at home jobs, I have some site and company that I can refer you to but I would stay on your toes because there are new people that want to advertise to death and hope the people do the work for them.

Some of the link that the person posted on this Yahoo Answers are scammy and fishy. I am predicting that more people are going to advertise in your response because of your question.

Okay, I'm sorry to be blunt, but if you get disability and you can't go through the "back to work" program than you really shouldn't have an at-home job, the IRS and gov't can go after you for that.

And I'm just not talking to you but many of the disabled people who come on here complaining disability doesn't pay much and want more money through a job that 99% is a scam.

P.S. And I know disability doesn't pay much, but that's the point, you get free housing, food stamps, and exempt from paying taxes.
