Are you kidding me? Men throw those words around like there is no tomorrow. It's meaning them that they seem to have a hard time with.

It should only be hard to say it if you don't really mean it. If you truly do love someone you should have no trouble saying it at all. That's how I feel.
I went through a really bad break up with the guy I was engaged to. After that I couldn't tell any guy that I loved them. No matter how many times they would tell me. Then I started dating the guy I'm married to now. It took me a long time to trust him enough to tell him I love him. But now it's the easiest thing ever to say to him.

It shouldn't be but for some, it's hard to say it because they don't mean it. The words should flow easily out of your mouth but for some people, it's not easy because they may not mean it.

I don't think it is--assuming you do love the person. If what you really mean is that it is difficult to know WHETHER you love someone, I'd say give it some time.

Because it's a loaded word.
Yes sure a lot of people throw it around but that's only because they don't truly understand the word in it's truest form.

Because that means you have to REALLY commit to that person.
I havent ever said it to anyone that isnt family and actually felt like i meant it.
Like when I say the three BIG words to a dude I am going to REALLLLLY mean it .

I have come to realize that its only hard to say i love you because you're not ready, but when you are there wont be any hesitation...trust
