I am polite to any and all "service people" such as clerks, waitresses, repair people and the law. I try to be polite to everyone (family, friends, neighbors) but I am not always successful, sadly.

Yes, m'am.
I try to be as polite as possible but some people make it rather difficult at times. I'm from the mid-west but my parents are southern. I was raised to be extra polite to those you don't like. It makes a bigger statement when you are overly polite and proper to them.

For the most part...
Alright... it really depends which teacher you ask...
I basically tell some of my teachers to screw off, but the ones that I like, I am polite to... so yeah...
