Went to the doc today but was not checked down there. Came home and noticed when i wiped that there was a lot of blood on the tp that was bright red in color. Having just some dull pains right now. Nothing I cant walk off. Baby is still moving. Has anyone else had this happen? And what does it all mean?

Yes, I bled when I was that far along, but you may still want to go to the doctor to make sure everything is ok

Honey, it's blood, and if you're not in labor, or not on your period, it's not supposed to be coming out of you. I hate to seem like the downer, but just because you can still feel your baby kicking, it doesn't mean that everything is OK, I'd call the nurse or your OB and see what they suggest. I doubt there are very few actual doctors on this answers, so If I were you, I'd want an professional's opinion...for your and your baby's sake.

Go to the ER right away - bright red blood is NOT a good sign at this point in your pregnancy - could be placenta previa or placental abruption - baby may be in grave danger. Don't feel silly - trust me, better safe than sorry. Good luck.

Hi, i would go to the docs to have yourself checked. Whenever there is blood is involved, then i would seek professional advice. Could be in labour though but im not 100%. All the best!

if you are having consistant bleeding (not just a little bleeding as you passed the mucus plug) then you need to call your physician. It sounds as if you're in early stages of labor. Call and ask if they can check you out or drive to your hospital and have them examine you if your doctor's office is closed. At 38 weeks you're full term so don't panic. Calmly call your doctor but try not to worry, more than likely you're about to be a mommy! Best of luck!

Go to Labor and delivery. You are most likely in labor. I can't believe that your doctor didn't even bother to
I wanted to add that bleeding bright red like that and having pains are also indications of placental abruption and that can be dangerous to your baby, and to you if you lose too much blood. I almost lost my son at 29 weeks due to this.
