Not weird at all. When I had cancer, I planned my funeral. I still would like Green Day's, "I Hope You Had The Time Of Your Life" played. I want people to celebrate my life and not just mourn my death.

I actually have a song, colour coordinates, and all that.My friends think it's wierd and that I'm praying for death. The song I chose is a remix by Westlife:Seasons in the sun.
Nobody should wear black to my funeral, bright colours only! It's really weird that I've got all these planned out cuz I'm not even 18 yet!

Just the wise thing to do. What if someone chooses a song for you that you absolutely hate? I mean, it is going to be the last song that you will hear whilst you are still six feet above the ground.

heart of gold by force and styles, this song was when i was at my most happiest ever, anyone who knows me and is still alive at my funeral will cry thier fekking eyes out at this tune. it could well be fifty years in the future or more, but thats the way it is...... 2 weeks ago, my mate pal had played, is this the way to ammarillo. sobbed like a baby for that one i did

Gwenneth and I chose. "Where corals lie" from Sea Pictures by Sir Edward Elgar and sung by Dame Janet Baker.
Sadly I was not present when she died and her horrid family ruined what could have been beautiful.

The deeps have music soft and low
When winds awake the airy spry,
It lures me, lures me on to go
And see the land where corals lie.
The land, the land, where corals lie.

By mount and steed, by lawn and rill,
When night is deep, and moon is high,
That music seeks and finds me still,
And tells me where the corals lie.
And tells me where the corals lie.

Yes, press my eyelids close, 'tis well,
Yes, press my eyelids close, 'tis well,
But far the rapid fancies fly
The rolling worlds of wave and shell,
And all the lands where corals lie.

Thy lips are like a sunset glow,
Thy smile is like a morning sky,
Yet leave me, leave me, let me go
And see the land where corals lie.
The land, the land, where corals lie

It's not weird at all, i think it is a good idea. I picked mine ages ago, and they are by the King himself, Elvis Presley. The songs are "My Way" "You'll never walk alone" and "If I Can Dream"..all very meaningful songs to me.
