You could not protest during WWI. Watch the movie " Iron-jawed Angels." During WWI, women wanted their rights however because it was during a war, women were taken to prison for protesting.

confident. in the process the worldwide Wars specific and constrained regulations have been enacted--publicly and by criminal technique--spcifically directed to assembly needless to say pointed out wartime desires. What Bush has (tried) to do is undermine the criminal beginning place of our rights itself--the form. And has made it sparkling he indends for this to be the two unrestricted by ability of statute (as have been the WWI and WWII measures) and permanant. this is a much extra intense possibility--and scarcity of freedom--than something everyone even contemplated in the process the worldwide Wars. yet then, the two Wilson and Roosevelt have been dependable Amricans, not basically like the present occupant of th eWhite living house--who has made his loss of loyalty to the United Staes sparkling in his derision of the form as a "rattling piece of paper."

Americans were actually so "pro-American" during that time that they arrested some people for voicing out against the war. Unfortunately, it's been three years since I took Government & Law class so I lost my list of federal cases.
