I'd say adults, but I think kids, like myself (hi), should be allowed to use it

For people over the age of 13. And from there all the young people and adults come into play.

Both... its usually the younger ones asking the more experienced ones... and also a relief or opinion taker for adults who need to have fresh new ideas on topics they seems to think they all know so well.

I think it was created for anyone who knows how to use the computer/internet. Everyone needs help with things at times...and this website should be kept rated G...it should have a rated R section to submit your questions and answers so that little eyes can try to remain innocent while needing help on homework.

Actually I think the purpose of creating Y!A was for young people, buy Yahoo! has an all-age comunity so everyone from all ages uses Y!A

Good question but personally i don't think it really matters if your a child or adult using this program. The real reason it was made was to have a question of yours answered by other people.

I think their intentions were more for adults, but they didn't realize that by putting in the system of gaining points, they were going to attract the younger crowd, too.

i think it is for both Teens and adults can both ask questions and answer questions. Like whether you need help with homework or you are wondering whats going on in the world you could just get on the computer and ask.

As an adult, I enjoy answering questions, it keeps me thinking instead of vegetating. The part that bothers me the most is young people who are unaware of the spell check when asking questions.

I think it was probably created more for adults and then of course kids got ahold of it and now it is a great mix of both.

Personally, i think it was created for anyone wishes to express themselves towards other peoples issues. Whether it be positive feedback, negative or plain old rude feed backs.
I think it's a good communication engine where by u can communicate ur personal queries anonymously.
