Yes, - it's the procedure of "GAS SAMPLING".
A suction pump is attached to a tube, with a funnel or nozzle, and draws gases into itself and out into a collection device, where the collected gases can be separated and analyzed.
It's a simple procedure, - used in air-pollution studies for instance
I apologize for the rest of the Horses' arses who answered your question in such cavalier and unhelpful way. They know not what they do....

Apparently, most dry ice is produced from CO2 from industrial processes (that would otherwise be released to the atmosphere). Carbon dioxide is removed from air as dry ice during the production of liquid air, but the amount would not be that great (compared to the volume of air being processed) and it might contain a lot of water - manufacturers might even just let it sublime or use it for cooling in the plant...

Umm, I can try and guess for you....
Siphoning is used with a hose to take gas from one car and put it into a can so you can put it in another car.
Methane is gas in a vapor form, it is highly flammable and the reason you're not aloud to smoke near the pumps. I don't think you can capture methane unless it's under the covers at night.

You need to be more specific. There are a number of ways to confine and condense gas into a smaller volume for different applications: Mechanical pumping, cold trapping, adsorption,
and absorption come to mind.
