I think wrapping presents is GREAT! After I haul all the s**t out that I've had hidden around the house for months (late at night after everyone is sleeping) then I go in the basement and haul up all the wrapping paper and sit down on the floor. Then I realize I forgot the scissors. So I get up and search the house for those. (cuz' no one puts them back where they belong) Then I sit back down. After getting the paper cut and present wrapped then I realize I forgot the tape. SO I go on the same type of expedition as I did for the scissors. After wrapping 500 frickin presents I have to come up with some type of system to mark them so that I know what they are without putting name tags on them cuz' otherwise my kids can't keep their hand off!!!
So I guess I don't agree. Wrapping presents is NOT fun for me. Even in the begining.
(not to mention my husband, who didn't help pick anything out, didn't help find anything, didn't offer his c.c. when I ordered all the crap, didn't even care when I showed him what I bought, didn't have any idea where anything was stashed, didn't help haul the crap out, didn't help wrap, but is then wondering why I can't go to bed when everyone else does!!!!!!)

You are 100% correct. Wrapping is also bad for the enviroment. Last year I sewed gift bags for Santa to use at our house. This year my family and friends will recieve thier gifts in reusable shopping bags.

it is at first, but after the first present, my wrapping starts to look like a 3 year old wrapped it..........

Yeah.. I get bored of unwrapping it. I feel sad for some of my friends, they buy gifts for each other and put a lot of wrapping and tape around it. It can be very distressing.

ug, that is why people invented gift bags.
Although, after a while, all that tissue paper gets annoying too.

I love wrapping!!!!! It's fun, then I mess up then I have to do it all over again...LOL!!! =0L

thats why i get it done as quick as possible and use gift bags
