I've lived in both places. Phoenix proper is a toilet. I was surprised at how sleazy it is! Then, I moved to Mesa, scotsdale and Flagstaff. They were nice. I love the Northwest though, so I will choose Seattle with it's mild climate, friendly people and location. It's great for visiting the ocean, Canada, or it's neighbor city Portland. It's so beautiful and green. Love it!

You know you pose a very interesting question. Because I love the sun/heat but hate the rain but on the other hand I love the woods and forest. As we all know their isn't much of that in Phoenix. I live in SoCal and very happy here. I suppose I would go with Seattle.

I have been to both. Arizona gets 120 or so degrees in the summer. Seattle has rain but it has the ocean and snow in the winter. It has alot to offer. If I wanted desert then New Mexico is better because it is warm but not so hot. It get snow but iit melts the next day. But I lived on Anderson Island in Washington and I lived at Loon Lake Washington. I loved Washington. Wild berries to pick, boston ferns under the pine trees. Alot of wild life. It was beautiful. I would want to summer in Washin gton and winter in New Mexico.

I live near Phoenix, but I think I'd like to be a snowbird. Stay in Seattle for the warmer months and head to AZ for the winter.

Seattle. I don't think I could stand the heat of Arizona, plus, Seattle is closer to the ocean, which I love.

I have been to Phoenix many, many times. It sickens me to see how much it's starting to resemble LA. It's just too hot to do anything fun outside and too boring to do anything inside.
Seattle would be great. I don't mind rainy weather. It's a nice climate, and it doesn't snow (much). Plus, it's the home of Hendrix. How can you not love that!

I spent a summer in Tuscon Arizona and absolutely fell in love with the place. I would definitly choose Phoenix. I love the weather, I love the scenary, and I love the people. Property value is pretty good there too. Real Estate is actually cheap there.
