I mean, Santa's dead (Saint Nick), he died over 200 years ago, now he's just some commercial mascot for materialism and the whole gimme-gimme thing christmas has become. He's went from a real dead guy, to a fake legend.
People have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas.

i know. people (especially little kids) are so obsessed with santa and getting presents that they become so greedy around Christmas time and forget that the holiday was originally created in honor of Jesus's birthday, not so that they can get presents from "santa"

we talk about the real meaning xmas and celerbrate it with exchanging gifts,my boys are in xmas cocerts each year at school doing the christmas story and this year they have been chosen again.They love the lil storys and i enjoy hearing them tell others.cheers :)

I totally agree. It makes me sad how this time of year is all about shopping, shopping, shopping instead of things that really matter, like loving your family and getting closer to your friends.
