It's a nice ideal state to want to think about - and to perpetuate, but I think the human race nowadays is too immature for one thing, but it also extends to ideological differences - which creates conflict.
If one person tried to go against the flow - I'm not sure how many people would find that to be courage rather than stupidity - to proclaim world peace. It's blasphemy to many.
I, personally, would like to think it's possible. But it's also in human nature to just conform with the majority and keep our mouths shut.

If you look at the past... Heck no! Too much tribalism... however, the earth is getting smaller and smaller as we advance.
Eventually, there may come a day where we are wise enough not to kill each other over land, resources, wealth, ect. But without an outside influence (like alien invasion or some impending world disaster). I think that day will be long after I am dead and buried!!!

.... Until Jesus comes... NOPE! I've read the newspaper and I've read the book of Revelations and I just see it getting worse and worse with bigger weapons. The Bible has it right when it talks about the heart of man being greedy, lazy, lustful etc.... it is going to get much worse! Even Darwin pointed out in his writings too the more man's heart gets away from God the more he will live out the survival of the strong and he was right about 1900 to 1999 being the bloodiest century ever.
Back to the Bible is doing a series on the Book of Revelations if you are at all interested.

world peace is impossible because people, even if they want it, are imperfect. The need for money power and all material things make peace between all nations of the world very implausible. I will agree though that most people would like world peace but are not willing to give up anything to make it happen

World peace is something many people find comfort in. But it remains an ideal, a lovely ideal, but nothing more.
I, being the eternal optimist, like to think that we can rally the people of the world and awaken them to the pain and suffering war elicits, but humans tend to be stubborn.
We're fixed in our ways and unwilling to change. Perhaps individuals will, but not humanity as a whole. But go for it ! Do all you can to bring peace in to your life, and spread it into those around you. After all, "be the change you wish to see in the world." Right ?

Jesus said to Sr.Kowalska "Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to my mercy"
There you are, Jesus himself gives us the answer. But nobody believes in apparitions except some Catholics, who are despised by the majority of other Christians.

till we all have the same point of view or thought then peace may be possible but i highly doubt because their are always opposing views on how society should be governed and there are other issues people don't agree on.

I hate to say it but I dont believe so. As long as there are people on this earth there will be conflicting desires/beliefs or even values between people that will engage war.
