Your real concern should be if you have a deadly STD. I would call your doctor. The pill is not effective until you have been on it for a full cycle/month. You should never have sex without a condom, but since you have, you need to talk to your doctor.

First of all, you are only 14 and shouldn't be having sex at that age. However, you are smart enough to go get on birth control. The thing is, when you are on the pill, you are supposed to take them for 1 month before you have unprotected sex- unless they have come out with a new pill, which could be. I suggest that since there is a possibility that pregnancy can occur, you should go back to the dr & either request the morning after pill (if it's not too late) or figure out when your last period was & keep track of it. Go to a free health clinic & get a pregnancy test after your next period to be sure since you can have your period & be pregnant.
The pill can prevent pregnancy but cannot prevent you from getting sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS, HIV, HPV, and many many others. Be careful, use a condom. You are so young & have your entire life ahead of you. I was 14 when I lost viginity & I have spent years wishing I hadn't. Try not to make too many mistakes, regrets are hopeless, you can't turn back the clock.

SEE A DOCTOR!!!! and quit having violent sex a 14! The irresponsible jerk that had sex with under-aged jail bait, probably caused some damage. Believe me...some of this type of damage is irreversible and can cause problems during child birth. Oh, and there is no such thing as 'protected' sex unless you BOTH are using protection and even then that is not 100%. By the way, since you had already had sex its possible you were already pregnant and either starting the pills caused you to abort...see a Dr.

Well, you should always be concerned about pregnancy when you do something with such a high risk as having unprotected sex while only being on the pill for 5 days. Honestly though, what you should really be worried about is getting STDs. You had unprotected sex and though you don't say if this was someone you really know or not, I'd say that considering your age, that should be your biggest concern based on your description. I'm fifteen so don't take offense to that, I'm only saying that you may not have been thinking about other possible consequences.

When you first start the pill, it is normal to have irregular periods till your body gets used to the pill. The blood is prob from the pill. As far a the pregnancy, you should be concern. It is def a possibility that you can and/or get pregnant. I would continue taking the pill every day at the same time. (I keep mine on my night stand and take it the moment I wake up) If you are concern about being pregnant, get a home pregnancy test, and if you are pregnant, you should discontinue your birth control and see you doctor right away.

Sounds like you got lucky and aren't pregnant but the pill is causing heavy bleeding see the OB that prescribed and have a new pill prescribed. Also pregnancy is only 1 problem there are a whole lot of diseases that you can get from unprotected sex and many are incurable. Get a new pill and next time use a Condom too if he "loves" you he will want to protect you - make him cover it. Good Luck!

Though you definately are making a mistake by having sex at such a young age, you should ALWAYS wait until it's safe and if you can't wait the few years until you're a little more experienced in the world's workings, then you should use both a condum AND birth control.
As far as if you should be worried, the answer is ALWAYS "Yes". Expect you are pregnant until you're told you're not. This'll help keep the important things in perspective and may even reveal some things about yourself you haven't looked too closely into yet.

To be completely protected its advised to be on it for a month! Have you been taking the pill at the same time every day? I would be worried, you should get a pregnancy test or go back to the clinic/doctor!
But oh my god you're only 14!! SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!

maybe the pill isnt working well with your body. I know you probably hear it alot but 14 year old shouldnt be having sex, espically unprotected. And if you were pregnant, i dont think you would see signs like the day after sex....

In any case where you have sex you should think of getting pregnant, wearing or not wearing protection. Just listen to the doctor and they will tell you whats going on. The blood gushing out may be because u r sexually active. lol
