Teams are too arrogant to kick it out of bounds.

They think their kick coverage will be able to stop him, even though he burns even the best coverage.

Denver played okay against Chicago, they would have beat them and not let them come back if they didn't kick the ball to Hester.

1 and a half years in the league...he is already the best kickreturner of all time

On kickoffs, If you squib him and it works then it is great but if he scoops it up without a problem than you are in big trouble. If you kick out of bounds on a kick off you are putting them on the 40 yard line.

On punting, the best you can do is get a nice high punt which will give your coverage team the time it needs to close in and around him to contain him. If the first coverage players get their quick enough they can force Hester to call a fair catch.

Because the teams practice kick and punt coverage since training camp and some players only make the roster because of their skills in that area so they feel if they give i their best shot they can stop him. He is really good but since the Bears offense is very inconsistent a team probably could kick itout of bounds and they still wouldn't score.

I don't get it. If it'll lose 5-10 yards to angle it out of bounds, suck it up and do it. I wouldn't kick to the guy. On the other hand, punters are proud and want to show they're players, too, and want to challenge him.
