I need help on my homework and I have no idea what to do.
We just got through Act 2 so any information you give me cant be past that.. I need characteristics of Prince Escalus.. anything from act 1 or 2 you know about him. I have to draw a visual with the characteristics, and then i have to explain why I choose those and stuff.. I also need to find a qoute that is explaining some of his characterists, it doesnt matter who says it.. HELP PLEASE!!!

He's the Prince, the ruler of the entire city. His word is law. What he says, goes. He can condemn people to torture or death if he wants to.
The Prince has only a few lines in the first two acts of the play. But those few lines give you a lot of information about the characteristics you're looking for. Look at Act One, Scene One, lines 81-103. What is the Prince saying there? How does he feel about the Montagues and the Capulets fighting in the streets of his city?

Prince Escalus- He's a respectful character, scared by the people of Verona, despise the hatered between both families that he tried to stop creating brawls because of them.
