I can honestly say that this girl is a VERY BAD influence because of her upbringing. She keeps calling to say she wants to sleep over & I don't want ANY part of that! Her mother is most likely behind the whole thing because she's always trying to pawn her off to other people & then she's late when it's time to pick her up! Others who have gotten suckered in have warned me!

My house is the LAST place for another child to be spending time in with the fighting that's been going on lately. We don't fight in front of our daughter, only after she falls asleep but I can tell she feels the stress between us.

when you answer the phone tell the little snot to stop calling.. It's still your house isn't it? Tell her NO, you're not spending the night..
simple solutions work best.

I would just tell her..."there is alot of family problems going on right now and i find it best that she doesn't come over....make sure your daughter isn't telling her to come over or anything...tell the mother that its no environment for her daughter right now cause of the family stress...tell the mother that u cannot watch her...tell your daughter to ask her to quit calling and that your daughter will call her if she can come over...maybe let the little girl stay over one night and if the mother is late picking her up....tell her that this cannot happen anymore if she is late...if the little girl does something wrong or something u do not encourage tell the mother also

Get on the phone with the girl's mother and tell her you don't want her kid calling all the time or sleeping over.
I had the same problem with my son's "friend". The kid was a brat, and I did not want him at my house or calling 500 times a day. So I called his mother and said, "Can you please tell Parker to stop calling all hours of the day? Oh, and also, our family has a very busy schedule and we cannot possibly have visitors any time soon. Thank you." It worked. Or maybe she was just spooked by my Russian accent.

Maybe you should talk to the mother and say it's family time or were going to go somewhere right now call back later or something liek that. Get caller ID so you know when she is calling......

You could block her calls from getting through. You tell her straight out NO. Talk to her mother and tell her that you do not allow sleep overs with her daughter. If all else fails,,change your number.

She's only 7. You can limit her phone use. But I feel sorry for that little girl. She probably knows her mother doesn't want her around.

Get caller I.D. u can check who it is and when you see its that person, don't answer it. Tell your daughter "let me answer the phone there might be people calling me for work." if you are not home, you can tell your husband, nannie, baby-sitter etc.
