Okay my fiancee and I are trying to have a baby.. we had unproteced sex and he "came in" me november 3. Nov 4 he also came in me and then on Nov 6th I decided to buy a CLEAR BLUE ovulation kit to detact when I'm ovulating. So i did and i did to see if i was ovulating and i was, i got the okay-smiley face. so we immed. had sex and he came in side me again. The next day i decided 2 test again to see if i was still ovulating & i was NOT. So a few days have gone by and I tested a few days go & this morning on a home preg. test (clearblue dig & 1st response) to see if i am preg, and im not. I have irrugular periods so I have no idea when my period come but it has been a WHILE since i got my last period, I had discharge some days and its all browney\pink and slimey abd latley i have had ALOT!!! of white muckious thats sticky and slimey, ive also had alotta cramping in the lower area, but no period.

Also like a week ago i figured I was getting my period, well i woke up and had the SMALLEST spot of blood ever on my tampon- after that i havent seen blood. can i be pregant?? i took a clear blue dig. test this morning and im not preg. but i have not gotten my period, it should be here. todays the 28th of NOVEMBER and i HAVENT had my period at all this month, last I had it was the middle of October. ? am i preg? what should I do? Im going to the drs on sat morning to get a blood work.. could i be preg but it just not showing up on home preg test?

Ava, I don't know why people have to be soo rude!!! I know what ur going through right now and you just want answers. It is fustrating and ignorant people never help. Here is my story. I am going on 6 days late for my AF and I am never late. I always have a 32 day cycle right on the money. I have had two other children so I have been through these symptoms before. I know what I am feeling is pregnancy. Most women know their own bodies better than anyone else. I have taken 3 hpt only to come up negative and a blood test. My dr told me that if my hCG level is still too low it is probably just not showing up. So if you are still not at least 2 weeks overdue for ur AF I would just keep taking a htp every few days. Once you've missed ur 2nd AF and still negative results, I would definitely see the dr because if ur not pregnant THEN you need to find out what is going on. There are alot of women on here who have gone through the same thing because every women's body is different and we produce this hormone differently. Just try to relax(I know it is hard) but you don't need to go to the dr to get a possible false negative and get depressed over nothing:) GOOD LUCK

Wait a week and test again. If you got the positive on the 6th you didnt ovulate until the 7th. Its only been three weeks since then and if you produce low hormones it can take a little longer to trigger a test. In most cases this should be the week you're on your period, but not every woman is like that. But it does mean that the ovum should be implanting which is what the spotting may have been.
Wait a couple days or a week and test again.

I am going to give you my standard answer.......go get a book called "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will help you truly understand your body and cycle and erase all the myths that women believe about their bodies. It will help you chart and find your best days for conception - or not! It will also help you learn if you are pregnant or not faster than any pregnancy test can tell you. I believe every woman - whether they want to conceive or not should read this book. I believed all the ovulation & conception myths that are floating around here until we tried for a year with no luck. My doctor recommended the book and it worked the very next month! It turned out my timing was wrong and that I don't ovulate in the middle of my cycle like most women.
I'll be 40 in Nov....and I am due to have my 4th in March!

Well the best thing to say is to wait a week or so and take a test then. I know waiting sucks, trust me, I'm waiting another week before I take my test. If it still comes back negative, then go see your doctor for a blood test to confirm. And don't listen to the people that are being unhelpful. I don't know why they are even answering then. You came here looking for help from people who have been in your shoes, and that is what you should get. Good luck!!
