Why haven't you gone to see a genetic doctor? If you're concerned, you should go.

I think it's important to be properly informed in this situation. There are things that can be done to increase the chance of a healthy pregnancy and to ensure the wellbeing of your child. They will probably want to do an amniocentesis as that is the only way to tell with 100% certainty whether your baby will have it or not. I declined that test but in your circumstances I think you should do it.
