So, if the date of conception was May 1, 1007, then it would be 38 weeks to January 22, 2008 (I think you miscounted).

If your last menstrual period was April 18, then it makes sense that you would have conceived approximately two weeks after that...You don't get pregnant when you're on your period, you get pregnant when you ovulate, which is usually in the middle of your 28-day cycle.

You need to count from May 1, not April 18, and I think you should count again. A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks, but 38 weeks is not unheard of, and for the most part, the baby is fully developed by that time.

And I have to agree with LoveYooh...Please use regular English with your child. It's really important that they are at least given the basic tools for being part of society.

Here's a link that might help you understand the cycle a little better.

Actually, if you count from the first of May, which is what the conception date was said to be, it is actually 38 weeks from the due date of January 22nd.

This is becuase the way they calculate it is that you would have gotten pregnant somtime during the first two weeks after you last menstral cycle. This is an estimation, as so to take of for the guess, they set the conception date at two weeks after the start and add 38 weeks.

This means that truly the earliest safe date that you baby should be born is January 22nd, but that it may range anywhere from there until February 5th.

Okay... Your last Menstral period (LMP)was the 18. You concieve after that. Your due date goes by your period. So your are noalread pregnant. They just go by your LMP so they can have a ball park of when you are due. You will be actually over 40 weeks and your baby wont be early unlss it comes way before then. My LMP was april 19th 2003 I concieved May 3 2003. My daughter was born January 20, 2004. She is fine. If you need more info e mail me

You need to count those weeks again. But from your "writing" I can see where you might have miscounted. I think I have deciphered what you want to know, though. You don;t actually concieve until 2 weeks into your cycle, so the dat eof conception will be approximately 2 weeks after your last period.

You can have a period during the first month of pregnancy. The ultrasound is more accurate then using your period date, because it goes by the baby's growth and development.

Also are you aware this is an English speaking forum? It took me forever to interpret the language you were speaking. What country do they speak that way in.

Sometimes, a baby is born prematurely, which has happened plenty of times to other people. It is usually 9 months for a baby to be born, but it can be earlier by a month or two usually.
