This is a very big issue and involves a lot of money and spans several years. It also originates in another state where the case would be handled. The lawyer or lawyers would have to be willing to take a percentage of the outcome of the decision. Do you think this is possible?

Yep. There are a lot of attorneys that take cases on contingency fees. You have to identify the state and the court in which it is located in order to get an attorney. Only attorneys admitted to the bar in that state would be interested. If the case is potentially lucrative enough, then an out of state attorney might be interested if they can be admitted pro hac vice.

check out overlawyered.com

I am sure you can find lots of creative contingency lowyers mentioned there.

But if you are right and there is money to be had at the end, why wouldn't you want them to have any of it?

After all, you are asking them to take all of the risk, and finance the case themselves. Why would anyone intelligent enough to win or settle such a case do it for a pat on the back?

This type of lawyer is very few and far between. They have to get paid somehow. They don't get free food and rent.
