It mgiht not be a question of quantity and quality. Try new things, situations. Show him you still care and try to be a bit more youthful and energetic. Grab some toys, get some kinky outfits and do some role playing scenarios. Every guy has the same typical dream fantasys, we love;

5. school girl outfits

1) taking off your clothes is not sexy. Taking off one item every half hour or so is.
2) Sensuous means appealing to the senses. Use them all. Subtle is better. Just change your Shampoo (smell). Change your hairstyle-nothing drastic (see)

Edit: I have more time now. Um, remind him it goes BOTH ways. HE needs to be sexy too. To a large degree, "sexy" is in the mind of the beholder. I find my wife sexy while she's sitting there reading a book, or cooking, or cleaning, or just being there. She doesn't have to wear anything special or "do anything" special. Wear a little extra make up, maybe some more revealing clothes. Maybe he'd like you to initiate sex sometimes too. Invite him into the shower with you, have the bedroom set up with candles and a bottle of wine when he comes home. Stuff like that.

It sounds like he wants you to be the agressor. To come on to him, to make him think that you have have been thinking about him all day and can't live another minute without rocking his world.
